The Aam Aadmi Party has declared that its ministers and MLAs will address press conferences in all 23 districts of Punjab to expose what it calls a BJP conspiracy against the poor. The party alleged that after manipulating votes, the Central Government now wants to end free ration for nearly 55 lakh beneficiaries in Punjab. It claimed that under the pretext of KYC, ration for 23 lakh people has already been stopped, and another 32 lakh are facing threats of cancellation. AAP leaders said this is an attempt to starve Punjab, the state that has fed the nation for decades. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has assured that during his tenure, no ration card in Punjab will be cut.
