After clash between Eastwood owner's son, nephew and leather businessman's son, Jalandhar Police issue notice

In a major development, Jalandhar Police has slapped a restaurant cum bar of the city for operating beyond time limit. The is the same restaurant situated near near Guru Nanak Mission Chowk where a clash took place between Eastwood Village owner's son and a leather businessman's son. Eastwood Village owner Triveni Malhotra's nephew was also injured in the clash.

As per sources, a notice has been served to the restaurant as it was operating beyond time limit.

In 2022, Jalandhar Police and the District Administration had directed that no pub, restaurant, or hotel will operate until late at night. Apart from that, no dancing to orchestra or DJ music would be permitted after 10 p.m. Otherwise, the cops will take strict action against them.

The order had stated that after 11 p.m., no new customers will be permitted to enter the restaurant, club, or bar. At midnight, all restaurants, clubs, bars, pubs, and other eating and drinking establishments must be entirely closed.
