Khadoor Sahib's MP Amritpal Singh's political party Akali Dal (Waris Punjab De) is likely to field its candidate for Tarn Taran Byelection in Punjab soon. Tarn Taran Byelection is on the cards as MLA Dr. Sohal passed away after a prolonged battle with cancer.
As per reports, Akali Dal (Waris Punjab De) may field Paramjit Kaur Khalra as its candidate for Tarn Taran Bypolls.
Taran Taran is said to be a panthic seat and hence Amritpal Singh's party is banking big on the seat.
For those who are unaware, Paramjit Kaur Khalra is a human rights activist, and the widow of Jaswant Singh Khalra. Yes, the same Jaswant Singh Khalra on which Diljit Dosanjh is making his movie.
