In a massive development, Sri Guru Ram Dass Jee International Airport in Amritsar on Monday evening received a bomb threat. (Amritsar Airport Bomb Threat) As per Aaj Tak, an unidentified caller informed the airport authorities that the facility would be blown up with explosives.

Following the threat, security beefed up across the airport premises. Local police, along with bomb disposal squads and dog squads, were swiftly deployed to the site. Coordination with central security agencies was also initiated to ensure thorough inspection and preventive measures.
