In a shocking development, Sri Harmandir Sahib on Wednesday received another threat email. This will be third threat email that Amritsars Golden Temple has received in 3 consecutive days.
The latest email reportedly includes direct references to targeting the holy shrine, further intensifying security concerns.
The Border Security Force (BSF) and bomb disposal squads have been continuously engaged in thorough investigations and security checks around the premises since the first email was received.
As per information received, the nature and tone of the emails have raised alarm within both the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) and law enforcement agencies.
In response, SGPC President is scheduled to address a press conference today to brief the media around 12 pm on the ongoing situation and the Committee’s stance on the threats.
For the unversed, a bomb threat email was first received in which the sender stated that he would blow up Sri Harmandir Sahib's famous langar hall from RDX. The second day the Golden Temple received yet again RDC threat via Email.
