It is important to note that the Government of Punjab has already issued an official notification regarding the date of Baisakhi in 2026 and the notification was released by the Personnel Department as part of the list of gazette holidays for the year and as per the officially notified holiday calendar Baisakhi will be celebrated on April 14, 2026 in Punjab.
According to the notification April 14 which falls on a Tuesday will be observed as a public holiday across the state.
