Punjabi rapper Badshah whose real name is Aditya Prateek Singh, recently visited Punjab to hand over keys of the new houses to flood victims. For the unversed, Badshah partnered with the Sikh Aid Foundation, and on Sunday handed over the keys of newly constructed permanent houses to families affected by floods in the Ajnala area.

Badshah's visit to Punjab was unannounced. Hence, in an interview with SMTV, Badshah was asked whether he deliberately hid his Punjab schedule from the media or he does not like to hype his Nobel work.

The rapper said that it is the truth that he did not get much time to inform the media but sometimes it is important to hype your work.

So, I decided to come, especially these days are so auspicious."

"It's not charity but duty. No need to glorify this but yes if someone gets inspired by it, then it is good."
