A violent fight erupted in Amritsar's famous Olympian Gym between owner & bodybuilder Amandeep Singh and his 'paper partner' Manpreet Sindhu. CCTV footage of Olympian Gym has also come the fore in which Amandeep Singh who is also an international athlete and his 'paper partner' were seen involved in a violent brawl.
Notably, Amandeep Singh, who also enjoys over 2 lakh followers on Instagram informed the media what actually led to the braw. He further stated that he has filed a police complaint Manpreet Sandhu and gym's sales manager Harpreet Kaur.
Not only this, but Amandeep Singh has also reached to Sri Akal Takht to complain over disrespect of his Dastaar.
Amandeep informed the media, "I am a professional athlete and world record holder. The person in the video that is going viral is my paper partner of gym, Manpreet Sindhu. Along with her, the gym's sales manager, Harpreet Kaur, who handles the accounts, was also present."
There had been arguments going on regarding the accounts. I was provoked inside the gym. The sales manager was recording my video, and when I tried to stop her, Manpreet also started recording me on her phone. They were provoking me continuously. During this, I tried to take the phone away and put it down. At that moment, my partner raised her hand on me. I asked her to leave the gym, but instead she grabbed my Dastaar and pulled my hair."
On being asked about what does he mean when he say paper partner, Amandeep said-
"She is only a ‘paper partner’ a temporary partner. The agreement was never officially registered. All the investment in the gym has been done by me through loans. She is taking advantage of the situation and greedily trying to claim my gym. A genuine business partner never tries to harm the business, but currently she is trying to damage both my reputation and my livelihood. If she were a serious investor, she would not behave like this.”
"For the last three months, there has been a monthly difference of around ₹2–3 lakh in the accounts. I called the accountant because I suspected mismanagement, but she refused to come and messaged that she was working under Manpreet’s instructions. Whatever was happening was being done at Manpreet’s behest."
