Parents of slain singer Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, popularly known as Sidhu Mooswala have been making headlines after their protest outside Mansa SSP office alleging embezzlement in their late son Sidhu Moosewala’s earnings. Following this, a case has been registered at the Sadar Police Station in Mansa against One Digital Network Private Limited, Gurpreet Singh Bhasin and Shabir Momin under the sections 316 (2), 336(2), 336(3), 338, 340(2), 344, 66, 318(4) and 61(2) of the BNS.
This has stirred a heated exchange between Sidhu Moosewala’s parents and Bunty Bains online. The back and forth started when Bunty Bains posted a series of messages, screenshots and audio recordings clearing his stance and stating that he has not done anything wrong. Later, he also made an audio recording of Sidhu Moosewala’s mother Charan Kaur public where she was having a conversation with him.
Following all this commotion on social media, now Charan Kaur took to her Instagram handle and shared a post clearing the air. She says that she never wanted to bring personal matters onto social media but because her audio was edited and misrepresented, she was forced to make a statement publicly. Talking about Bunty Bains she claims what he is doing is wrong and calls him out for using her audio clip.
She alleges that just four days after Sidhu’s death in June 2022, Bunty came to their home with a contract and got it signed as a backdated agreement from August 2020. She expresses that they were still in deep shock and grief at that time and questions the intent behind the move.
She asserts that Bunty used to handle all the financial matters, accounts and reports. She further alleges that they did whatever they were told and trusted him.
In the post Charan Kaur also claims that she didn’t know Shabir before 2025, a claim that has created a lot of stir around the issue and being alleged as false by Bunty Bains. She also questions if Bunty had realized that Shabir has not been handling things properly then they should have been informed regarding the same.
Concluding her remark, she says that they only want clear answers and settlement of their dues, she clarifies that they do not intend to malign anyone.
Responding the statement made by Charan Kaur, Bunty Bains once again took to his Instagram account and shared his side, saying that whatever he did was with only one intent and that was to secure everything legally on paper. He says the agreement clearly stated that 100 percent of the net revenue would go to Sidhu’s company, along with transparent reporting and defined legal rights. He questions why such clauses would exist if the intention was dishonest.
