

Union Home Minister Amit Shah addressed a massive gathering at the BJP’s ‘Badlav Rally’ in Moga today (Saturday), where he targeted the ruling government Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Punjab and also outlined BJP’s agenda for the state while signaled the party’s strategy ahead of the 2027 Punjab Legislative Assembly election.

Shah alleged that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government led by Bhagwant Mann is being run by “subedars from Delhi”, implying that the real control and the decision-making power lies with Arvind Kejriwal.

Amit Shah accused the AAP led state government of functioning merely as an “ATM” for Kejriwal and not focusing on the issues of Punjab’s public.

While discussing Punjab's long ongoing battle against drugs, Shah said that if the BJP forms the government in Punjab, the drug menace will be eradicated within two years from the state.
5. Religious conversions a serious concern
He said religious conversions have become a serious concern in Punjab and also made a major announcement stating that the first bill brought by a BJP, if voted to power in the state would be aimed at curbing these conversions.

Shah also targeted the AAP government, alleging several scams under its tenure.

He accused both the AAP and the Indian National Congress of misleading the public regarding recent trade agreements.
