

Aam Aadmi Party's Jalandhar Central Halka Incharge Nitin Kohli met Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann yesterday and strongly raised several important public welfare issues affecting the area. The Chief Minister listened to all matters seriously, adopted a positive stance, and assured prompt action.
Nitin Kohli stated that Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann gave a clear assurance that no inhabited house in Ambedkar Nagar will be demolished and no family will be rendered homeless.
The Chief Minister also supported decisions taken by Minister Sanjiv Arora for the welfare of Ambedkar Nagar, providing significant relief to the residents.
Regarding the Laddewali Flyover, the Chief Minister instructed the Deputy Commissioner and Municipal Commissioner on the spot to expedite repairs and reopen it for public use, aiming to ease traffic congestion in the area.
Kohli also raised the demand for a separate ward in Civil Hospital for medico-legal cases to improve facilities for patients and their families. The Chief Minister responded positively to this request.
Additionally, Kohli highlighted the issue of relocating Chugitti Government School from narrow and crowded lanes to a more open and suitable location, ensuring a safer and better educational environment for students. The Chief Minister expressed agreement and showed a positive stance on the matter.
