Amritsar's famous Bansal Sweets' first branch is coming soon in Jalandhar. For this, the construction of Bansal Sweets is ongoing in the same building where Jalandhar's iconic Heat-7 restaurant once stood tall. As per sources, Jalandhar's Heat-7 is expected to shift to a new place.
The construction of Bansal Sweets has been going in the New Jawahar Nagar area of Jalandhar.
As per reports, the issue of illegal construction has been sparked. It has been alleged that the construction of the Bansal sweets shop is illegal, and both the sides of the building have allegedly encroached upon the market’s parking space.
The building, earlier owned by a company, is now being reconstructed under the name of Bansal Sweets.
There are allegations that the space was originally meant for market parking. Now, there is an attempt convert that into private parking. A generator has been placed in the parking area.
As per reports, a complaint regarding the entire matter has been given to Jalandhar Municipal Corporation Commissioner Gautam Jain. It is claimed that even after complaints regarding illegal construction and encroachment the construction work continues without interruption.
Municipal Town Planner (MTP) Randhawa informed True Scoop that both Ghanshyam Sweets and Bansal Sweets have been called for a meeting with Jalandhar MC Commissioner Gautam Jain.
"Both the parties have been called at 12 pm for a hearing by the Commissioner. We have asked them to bring all the supporting documents with them. We will check both their records and then we will come to a conclusion. The two parties are- Ghanshyam Sweets and Bansal Sweets. "
