Court seeks status report from police in Jalandhar's Sarvodaya Hospital case

The police report that is to be received on January 31 is going to determine the future direction of the case.

The controversy mounting over Sarvodaya Hospital is getting heated up. The doctors of Sarvodaya Hospital, Rajesh Agarwal, Dr. Kapil Gupta, Dr. Sanjay Mittal, Dr. Anwar Khan and Noida-based CA Sandeep Kumar Singh have been named in a non-bailable case and troubles seems to be increasing for them. In regards to the case of Pankaj Trivedi vs Rajesh Agarwal the court has now sought a status report from the Navi Baradari Police Station regarding the arrest of the accused named in FIR No. 233/25.

The court has issued directives to the SHO of Navi Baradari Police Station to submit a status report regarding the arrest of the accused in the FIR No. 233, dated 23.12.2025. The court has issued an order to the SHO to submit a report by January 31, 2026.

As per reports, an application was filled in the court under the Section 75 Cr.P.C./79 BNSS for the arrest of the accused, after hearing the case. It is noteworthy that in this FIR registered on December 23, 2025 at the New Baradari Police Station, sections 420, 465, 467, 468, 471, 477-A, and 120-B of the Indian Penal Code have been imposed against the accused and as of now, the police report that is to be received on January 31 which is going to determine the future direction of the case.
