Punjabi actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh has responded strongly to online trolls just before his upcoming New Zealand concert on November 13. Talking about the negativity he faces online, Diljit said,”In this world, there will always be a few people who make negative comments. I don’t care about them.”
During his Australia show, Diljit also shared how people’s behavior has changed over time.
“There was a time when only relatives used to get jealous of your success and make negative remarks. But now, there are many such people in the world. Commenting negatively has become their job. So instead of worrying about them, we should keep moving forward in life.”
Speaking about criticism, he said with a smile,
“If someone calls me a driver, let them. I am a driver what’s wrong with that? We should be happy in every situation. Being a driver isn’t a small thing. Happiness doesn’t come from outside. The world isn’t the same anymore. Some people just wait for a chance to say anything, and they always will.”
Diljit also gave a heartfelt message to his fans:
“Don’t get so caught up in people’s comments that you forget to live your real life. Duties are important, but living your life is equally important. Don’t forget to live the life that God has given you with happiness. Whenever happy moments come, live them fully.”
Reflecting on his life experiences, he added, I’ve realized that we keep looking for happiness outside ourselves. We think other people will make us happy. But after traveling the world and learning through experience, I’ve found that happiness is already within us. You have to find it inside yourself no one else can give it to you.”
Finally, Diljit spoke about facing life’s problems:
“There isn’t a single person in this world who doesn’t have problems, issues, or stress. Everyone has their own kind of troubles. Just because I’m a star doesn’t mean I’m free from them. My tensions might be different from yours, but they exist. As long as we’re alive, these challenges will continue. I believe problems are necessary without them, what is life? It’s by solving them that we truly learn.”
