BJP's National President JP Nadda has been facing the ire of netizens for the past two days on social media. JP Nadda who is also Union Health Minister, has become a topic of discussion when on November 29, a commando assigned to his Z Plus Security collapsed while he was giving a speech.
However, neither Nadda nor any member sitting onto the stage came to help or even check the commando's health. Instead, Nadda continued to deliver his speech. This gesture by JP Nadda has sparked a massive uproar on social media with netizens labeling the BJP leader's act as disgusting and disrespectful'.
A video of the incident is now spreading like a wildfire on social media. As per reports, the incident took place in Vadodara on Saturday, November 29.
It took place during the Sardar Unity March’s entry into the city, where Nadda had joined party leaders and supporters.
The incident unfolded at Atladara, where Nadda was speaking as part of the Sardar at 150 Rashtriya Ekta Yatra. According to reports, the commando appeared to have collapsed due to fatigue or physical discomfort after standing for an extended period.
Other security personnel acted immediately, and moved him to a safe location and arranging medical care.
Reacting to the incident a user wrote, "A guard collapsed in Gujarat during JP Nadda’s speech..No one from the stage even got to check up on him and Nadda continued to speak...These small things tell you a lot about the character of politicians."
Another user wrote, "Very disrespectful and disgusting behaviour @JPNadda"
One more user wrote, "Not About the character of All politicians, it's about the character of @JPNadda only. There are lots of sensitive politician who take pain."
