New revelations have surfaced in the bribery case involving former Ropar Range DIG Harcharan Singh Bhullar, exposing his foreign connections. Sources indicate that Bhullar had reportedly travelled to Dubai several times during his service. The CBI has already taken possession of his passport to collect details of his international trips.
According to CBI officials, Bhullar is suspected of owning multiple properties abroad, including flats in Dubai and Canada. In addition, the agency has traced large land holdings and several commercial properties in Ludhiana and Machhiwara. The CBI suspects that these assets may have been acquired through undisclosed means during his tenure.
Investigators are now focusing on determining the sources of these properties and whether they were purchased under different names. Officials suggest that more revelations about Bhullar’s assets are likely to surface in the coming days.
