Godday Godday Chaa on Friday won National Awards 2025 for Best Punjabi Movie. Directed by Vijay Kumar Arora, Godday Godday Chaa features Sonam Bajwa, Gitaz Bindrakhia, Tania and more in the leading roles.
Set in the 80s and 90s, Godday Godday Chaa is a comedy-drama but outlines how women in Punjab historically struggled to attend wedding processions (Baarats).
The list of awardees are- Producer: VH Entertainment, Zee Studios, and Director- Vijay Kumar Arora. Along with award and certificate of recognition, each will get Rs 2,00,000 cash prize.

In the movie, Sonam Bajwa plays the main character of Rani. Apart from Bajwa, Tina plays Harsimran (Nikko), Gitaz Bindrakhia plays Bagga, Gurjazz plays Pinta, etc.
