Geeta is a regular E-rickshaw driver who that day was on her duty and carried few passengers in her rickshaw. She then dropped them off and went to buy some personal stuff. While Geeta was doing the usual, Madhu started recording Geeta which left her in question. The argument on thus topic escalated to a level where both the women started having a physical fight. The people present here recorded the incident and posted on social media which is After the video of two women fighting in the Amritsar bus stand goes viral, the police started investigating the matter after listening to both the sides and clears that the decision will be taken according to the rightfulness. While talking to the media the head constable of the bus stand police station clarified that the initial investigation concluded that one woman identifies as Geeta is an E-rickshaw driver and the other woman is Madhu
The police stated that both the parties submitted written pleas to look into the matter and the authorities are looking into the matter with all knowledge and the video is considered as the main proof for further investigation. They also confirmed that the next investigation will be held on the conclusion of the first investigation.
According to the police, Madhu is suspected earlier as well for taking random videos of strangers and posting them online on social media without consent. They also said that in those videos she accuses people of various things that they haven’t done. Authorities firmly stated that all these matters will be looked into and no decision will be taken in a hurry without looking into al parts of the problem.
The police authorities had an appeal in front of people to not to spread fake rumours on social media and wait for the authorities to come to a decision and till then maintain an order.
