Punjab Government has declared a public holiday on April 3, 2026 on the occasion of Good Friday. As per an official notification issued by the state the date has been included in the list of gazette holidays for the year and all government offices, educational institutions and public sector organizations across Punjab will remain closed on this day. The decision is part of the government’s annual holiday calendar.
Authorities have stated that while regular services will remain suspended, essential services will continue to function as per standard arrangements.
