

In a significant step toward improving internal connectivity and strengthening infrastructure, newly constructed roads worth ₹65.43 lakh were inaugurated at the Punjab Armed Police (P.A.P.) Campus in Jalandhar on Friday. The inauguration was carried out by senior Aam Aadmi Party leader and In-charge of Jalandhar Central Assembly constituency, Nitin Kohli, along with ADGP (Punjab Armed Police) M.F. Farooqui under the Rangla Punjab campaign.
With the completion of the project, internal movement within the campus is expected to become smoother, offering enhanced convenience to police personnel and their families residing there. Officials described the development as an important initiative aimed at upgrading basic infrastructure within the campus.
Addressing the gathering, Nitin Kohli stated that development and positive governance remain his top priorities. He emphasized his commitment to ensuring that development works in the constituency continue without interruption and that residents benefit from improved public facilities. He added that strong infrastructure lays the foundation for sustained progress.
Kohli also expressed appreciation for the Punjab Police, acknowledging their round-the-clock dedication to maintaining law and order. He said society remains indebted to the police force for their service and sacrifice.
Several senior police officials, including Rajpal Sandhu, Vivek Sheel Soni, Harkamal Preet Singh Khakh, Navjot Singh Mahal, Mandeep Singh, and G.S. Aulakh, along with other officers and campus residents, were present at the event in large numbers.
