In a major breakthrough by the Jalandhar Police Commissionerate, all the 3 accused who carried out high-voltage robbery in Bhargav Camp area have been arrested. The three accused have been identified as Kushal, Gagan and Karan. The 3 robbers armed with gun and sharp weapon robbed Vijay Jewellers in broad daylight in the Bhargav Camp area.

As per sources, the robbers have been arrested from Ajmer, Rajasthan. Special team of Jalandhar Commissionerate Police were on hunt to nab the robbers for the past 4 days. According to reports, senior police officials may soon hold a press conference regarding this matter. The Police officials are yet to confirm this update.

Police had information that the three accused had fled toward Ajmer. Police arrived at the scene and arrested all three accused.

Bhargav Camp Robbery Case

The Bhargav Camp robbers identities were confirmed during the course of investigation. The robbers were identified as- Kushal, Gagan and Karan. One of the accused is specially-abled.

As per reports, the three robbers stole 850 grams of gold jewellry and Rs 2.25 lakh in cash from Vijay Jewellers in the main market Bhargava Camp. The robbers committed the crime in minutes. The jewellry is valued at Rs 95,11,500. It means, the robbers committed the heist of approximately Rs 97 lakh.

Shop owner Ajay stated that the robbers took eight gold sets, 12 gold chains, a bracelet, two ladies' bracelets, rings, and gold tops, weighing approximately 850 grams.

As soon as the robber (Kushal) arrived, he pointed a pistol at him, and Nikhil, who was sitting in the shop, ran for his life.

Kushal then handed the pistol to his accomplice, who was already armed with a chisel. The robber repeatedly threatened to shoot Nikhil and extracted the cash.

Ajay Kumar, a resident of Zero Street in Avtar Nagar, said that his son Nikhil opened his shop around 10:15 a.m. About half an hour later, three masked robbers burst into the shop. His son was sitting at the counter while Sanjay, a craftsman, was inside. The son ran inside, and the robbers pointed a pistol at him. One of the robbers had a bag and a chisel. They threatened his son and stole 25,000 rupees from his pocket and 200,000 rupees from the counter.
