The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that the new week of July 2025 will bring episodes of rainfall across different regions of the state. However, during the weekends, the state will be dry, and there will be little to no rainfall across the state.
According to IMD Chandigarh, Jalandhar will not witness rainfall until July 20, 2025 (Sunday), but, expectedly, the district will witness very heavy to heavy rainfall from July 21, 2025 (Monday).
Here is the detailed weather prediction for the upcoming few days, as per the Indian Meteorological Department, Chandigarh.
The majority of the region across the state will witness sunny or partly cloudy days, with no rainfall. However, Pathankot, Hoshiarpur, Rupnagar, and Bathinda might witness isolated to moderate rainfall during the day hours.
According to IMD Chandigarh, the weather is expected to take a turn, and the state will continue witnessing rainfall. The latest prediction shows that isolated to heavy rainfall may pour across Punjab.
Isolated - Jalandhar, Amritsar, Tarn Taran, Kapurthala, Ludhiana, Sangrur, Barnala, Mansa, Bhatinda, Moga, Ferozepur, Fazilka, and Muktsar.
Few - Gurdaspur, Hoshiarpur, Nawanshahar, Fatehgarh Sahib, and Patiala.
Heavy - Pathankot, Rupnagar, and SAS Nagar (Mohali).
