A 45-year-old social media influencer and YouTuber Nancy Grewal was stabbed to death in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. As per reports, the Jalandhar-origin woman was residing in LaSalle, and was stabbed to death at her home in LaSalle around 9:30 pm on Tuesday.
Nancy was known for speaking against various issues in Punjab. Earlier, she had also spoken against the killing of Punjabi social media influencer and YouTuber Kamal Kaur Bhabhi in 2025 in Bathinda. Nancy had also spoken against Khalistani elements in India and Canada during the India-Canada tensions.
As per the reports, the LaSalle Police Service, officers and paramedics received a call regarding a stabbing incident around 9:30 PM. The team upon arriving found Grewal suffering from severe stab wounds, following which she was rushed to a nearby hospital by by Essex-Windsor Emergency Medical Services however she succumbed to her injuries.
As of now, the concerned authorities are viewing the case as an isolated incident and the police have not yet confirmed whether a suspect has been taken into custody and currently, police are also requesting surveillance footage from residents in the surrounding area to assist in the investigation.
