Jalandhar: Arvind Abrol, Satish Thakur, Gora , Vijay Khullar and Mandeep Singh Gujral of the Achievers Group said that political activity surrounding the upcoming Jullundur Gymkhana Club elections is gaining momentum. Even before the official announcement of the elections, various groups have started their campaign preparations. In this regard, the names of candidates for four key posts from the Achievers Group have come to the fore.
According to the information available, Dheeraj Seth has been named for the post of Junior Vice President, Amit Kukreja for Secretary, Harpreet Singh (Goldy) for Joint Secretary, and Sourav Khullar for Treasurer.
Sources said that all the prospective candidates have been associated with the club's activities for a long time and enjoy good recognition among the members. The Achievers Group is preparing to contest the elections with a focus on transparent functioning, better management, expansion of modern facilities, and giving priority to the interests of the members.
It is also being learnt that the Achievers Group may soon announce the names of its 10-member Executive Team. Following this, the electoral contest is expected to become even more interesting.
