Kangana cites security risk, attends Bathinda court hearing via video conferencing

Today, Kangana Ranaut was scheduled to visit the Bathinda court in connection to the ongoing defamation case against her. However, the actress turned politician, BJP MP Kangana Ranaut did not appear in the court in person citing a threat to her personal security. She instead joined the proceedings through a video conferencing.

On the other hand, the petitioner Mahinder Kaur has argued that Kangana’s passport be confiscated, claiming it to be a necessary step in ensuring justice is delivered on time.  

Earlier, during the last court proceedings, Kangana failed to make an appearance before the court. During that proceedings, Kangana’s lawyer presented with all the reasoning from her side as to why she was not present during the hearing. At that time too, the petitioner’s side had objected to Kangana’s repeated absence from the court and demanded a strict action on the same.
