Residents in several parts of Jalandhar are set to face a temporary power disruption on Wednesday due to a scheduled shutdown of the 11 KV Dakoha Feeder. According to the electricity department, the shutdown will remain in effect from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on May 27, 2026.
The areas likely to be affected include Kamal Vihar, Thakur Singh Colony, Shourya Green and Niti Shri Flats. Power supply in these localities will remain suspended during the maintenance work.
The department said the shutdown is necessary for routine maintenance and improvement works on the feeder line. Consumers have been requested to cooperate during the scheduled outage, while the department has expressed regret over the inconvenience caused.
