The series of schools receiving bomb threats in Punjab and Chandigarh does not seem to be ending. Now, once again some schools of Mohali have also received bomb threat. As per reports prominent schools in Mohali including Shivalik Public School, Paragon Senior Secondary School, Manav Mangal School, Infinite Jesus School along with others have received bomb threats. The threat e-mail mentions Narendra Modi as the target and it appears that the mail was sent by a Khalistani outfit.
Upon receiving these bomb threats, the school’s premises were immediately evacuated as a safety measure. Following this, bomb disposal squads and anti-sabotage teams were rushed to the schools for further assistance. Sources reveal that, these schools got this bomb threat via email. The police officers have affirmed that an investigation has taken its course and efforts are underway to track the source of the threatening emails. The security arrangements in the school premises has also been beefed up. As per reports, no suspicious objects have been recovered from any of the schools, further probe is underway.
