In a major development in high-voltage robbery case in a jewellary shop in Bhargav Camp area in Jalandhar, the Police have identified all the three accused in the case.

As per sources, the three men involved in robbery have been identified and are said to be residents of the same area. The robbers who have been identified are named- Kushal, Gagan and Karan. One of the accused is specially-abled.

Sources revealed that local residents recognized them based on the CCTV footage. Raids were conducted at the homes of those named. A senior police official has confirmed to True Scoop that all the accused have been identified and raids are being carried out to arrest them.

Robbery in Bhargav Camp area in a nutshell

As soon as the shopkeeper opened his shop in Bhargav Camp, the robbers brandished a pistol and stole jewellery. The police have now begun investigating after the incident was captured on CCTV.

Regarding the robbery at Vijay Jewelers, Deepak, a relative, said that he goes to his shop at 10:30 am, while his nephew opens the shop between 10 -10:15 am. Three masked robbers entered the shop and fled with gold and cash at gunpoint. Upon learning of the incident, he immediately rushed to his nephew's shop. He explained that the robbers were armed with revolvers, and police are now on scene and investigating

The police officer stated that he arrived at the scene at 10:55 am, and a boy sitting in the shop told him that three masked robbers entered his shop with revolvers, threatened him with the revolver, vandalized the shop, and stole the jewellery. An estimate of the amount of the loot is currently being made. The shop is named Vijay Jewelers, and his son, Nikhil, was sitting inside.
