A middle class Moga farmer won a lottery of Rs. 50 lakhs on Monday morning. The lottery was claimed in the Punjab State Dear Bumper Lottery. Later celebrations at the lottery stall were seen where the winning ticket was sold.

Who is the winner?

The winner has been identified as Charanjit Singh, a resident of Mathurapuri Colony, Moga. He had purchased the Punjab State Dear Bumper lottery ticket for ₹1,000 from Goli Lottery Stall on Pratap Road. The win was confirmed on Monday morning around 11:00 AM when the winner visited the stall to get update of the lottery.

Speaking on the occasion, Charanjit Singh said he has been buying lottery tickets from time to time in the hope of testing his luck, but this was the first timehe won something. Expressing gratitude, he credited the win to Waheguru's blessings. The farmer said he plans to use the prize money wisely, adding that a portion of it will be spent on social welfare activities, while the rest will be used to meet his family's needs and support his agricultural and personal responsibilities.
