The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) Chandigarh has shared its recent prediction about the chances of rainfall in Punjab and Haryana. According to the reports, the upcoming week will be accompanied by less rainfall and only some regions will be witnessing rain.
The experts have predicted pleasant weather, which might also result in a slight increase in temperature.
The latest prediction has revealed that just four regions will witness rainfall on August 6, and the remaining regions will witness little to no rainfall.
The regions which witnessed rainfall were Pathankot, Hoshiarpur, Rupnagar, and SAS Nagar (Mohali). Besides this, Jalandhar, Gurdaspur, Kapurthala, Nawanshahr, Fatehgarh Sahib, and Patiala were expected to witness a few to moderate rainfall.
However, the remaining regions were predicted to have a dry spell.
The chances of rain will reduce massively and will be confined to just two to three regions, i.e., Pathankot, Hoshiarpur, and Rupnagar. The remaining regions are expected to see no rainfall.
The weather conditions are expected to remain similar to August 7 as the rain is predicted to fall across three regions, which are Pathankot, Hoshiarpur, and Rupnagar.
According to the predictions, very little rainfall is expected across a few regions of Punjab during the weekend. As per the reports, very little rainfall will be reported in Pathankot, Hoshiarpur, Rupnagar, and SAS Nagar (Mohali) on Saturday and Sunday.
