On the occasion of the 556th Parkash Purab of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, a grand Nagar Kirtan is being organised in Jalandhar on November 1. The Nagar Kirtan will begin from Gurdwara Shri Guru Singh Sabha, Mohalla Gobindgarh, and follow a long route passing through S.D. College, Bharat Soda Factory, Railway Road, Mandi Phatakganj, Gurdwara Diwan Asthan Central Town, Milap Chowk, Phagwara Gate, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Chowk, Panj Peer Chowk, Khingra Gate, Gurdwara Shri Singh Sabha, Adda Hoshiarpur, Mai Hira Gate, Bhagwan Valmiki Gate, Patel Chowk, Sabzi Mandi Chowk, Jail Chowk, Basti Adda Chowk, Bhagwan Valmiki Chowk (Jyoti Chowk), Rainak Bazaar and Milap Chowk.

The procession will conclude at Gurdwara Shri Diwan Asthan, Central Town.

Keeping in view the heavy presence of devotees expected to participate in the procession, the Commissionerate Police, Jalandhar has announced traffic diversions on the designated Nagar Kirtan route.

These diversions will remain in effect on November 1 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM to ensure smooth, safe and uninterrupted traffic movement.

  9. Chik-Chik Chowk

  10. Lakshmi Narayan Mandir Turn

  11. Football Chowk

  12. T-Point Shakti Nagar

  13. Nakodar Chowk

  14. Skylark Chowk

  15. Preet Hotel Turn

  16. Makhdumpura Gali (Phullanwala Chowk)

  17. Plaza Chowk

  18. Company Bagh Chowk (PNB Chowk)

  19. Milap Chowk

  20. Shastri Market Chowk
