Nitin Kohli donates Rs 50 Lakh to Punjab Chief Minister's Chardikala Mission

AAP's Jalandhar Central Halka Incharge and Hockey India Vice President, Nitin Kohli, contributed Rs 50 lakh to Chief Minister's Chardikala Mission under Rangala Punjab Society. The donation is dedicated to providing immediate assistance to families and citizens affected by the recent floods.

Speaking on the occasion, Nitin Kohli who is also Hockey Punjab President said, “In this hour of crisis, it is our duty to stand with those in need. By contributing to relief and rehabilitation efforts under Mission Chardi Kala, we can bring relief and hope to the lives of affected families. Serving the people and supporting them is my top priority. This is a time not just for words, but for action and commitment.”

He added, “Under the leadership of CM Bhagwant Mann, the state administration is proactive at every step to help flood-affected people. The speed of relief and rescue operations, prompt assistance to affected citizens, and continuous monitoring of rehabilitation work reflect that the government stands with the public during every crisis. We take pride in the fact that such efforts are providing safety, relief, and confidence to the people of Punjab.”

He emphasized, “It is the combined efforts of citizens, social organizations, and the government that can create the greatest impact during any disaster. Our responsibility is to stand together and help those in need during every hardship.”

Earlier in the day, CM Bhagwant Singh Mann graced the Grand Finale of the Punjab Hockey League (PHL) at Surjit Hockey Stadium, Jalandhar.

Dignitaries who attended the event included- Ashok Mittal, Rajya Sabha MP and LPU Chancellor, Mohinder Bhagat, Cabinet Minister, Indian Men's Hockey Team Captain Harmanpreet Singh, Jalandhar Police Commissioner Dhanpreet Kaur, Jalandhar DC Himanshu Aggarwal, Jalandhar Improvement Trust Chairperson Ramneek Singh Randhawa, and Jalandhar Municipal Corporation Commissioner Sandeep Rishi.
