

Reacting to questions raised over the alleged amounts of ₹500 crore and ₹350 crore involving the Congress, AAP's Jalandhar Central Halka in-charge Nitin Kohli said that the truth cannot be suppressed and that Punjab needs answers.
Demanding accountability from the Congress, Nitin Kohli said that Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is working day and night for the development of Punjab.
Nitin Kohli said that the allegations of ₹500 crore and ₹350 crore against the Congress are extremely serious and that the people of Punjab want clear answers to these questions. He said that the Congress is trying to evade these questions, whereas bringing the truth to light is very important.
He said it is necessary to know where such a large amount of money came from, who received it, and what the reason is for two different figures. He asked the Congress to place the complete truth before the public.
At the same time, Kohli praised the Punjab government and said that a genuine people’s government of the Aam Aadmi Party is working in the state today. He said that Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann places Punjab’s progress, honesty and public interest above everything else.
Kohli said that Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is continuously taking new decisions to improve the lives of people in villages, cities and every sector. He said that every step taken by the Punjab government is for the welfare of the people.
He also said that Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann recently went on a foreign visit, during which he held several important meetings to bring industry, employment and development to Punjab. He said that this visit is a major step towards strengthening Punjab’s future.
Nitin Kohli said that the government is working on the principles of complete honesty, transparency and public service. He said that the people of Punjab know that today the state has a government that does not just make promises but delivers work.
In conclusion, Nitin Kohli said, “No matter how much the Congress tries to avoid it, the truth cannot be hidden. The people of Punjab will definitely get answers to their questions.”
