Due to popular demand and an encouraging public response, NHS Hospital has announced the extension of its Paediatric Orthopaedic Camp till 15th January.
The camp, being conducted under the supervision of Dr Sheenam Bansal, Consultant Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon, aims to provide specialised evaluation and guidance for children with orthopaedic and developmental conditions.
The camp is offering free consultations, while investigations are available at discounted rates. Children presenting with conditions such as gait disorders, bow legs, knock knees, clubfoot, cerebral palsy, developmental dysplasia of the hip (DDH) and other paediatric orthopaedic problems are being examined and guided according to individual clinical needs.
Speaking on the extension of the camp, Dr Sheenam Bansal said that early identification of paediatric orthopaedic issues plays a vital role in ensuring proper growth and long-term mobility in children. She added that timely medical guidance can help parents make informed decisions regarding treatment.
Dr Shubhang Aggarwal, Director, Head of Department and Senior Orthopaedic Surgeon, stated that the positive response from parents reflects growing awareness about children’s bone and joint health.
He further mentioned that NHS Hospital has a strong orthopaedic surgery team comprising five orthopaedic surgeons, ensuring comprehensive care when required.
Hospital authorities said that the camp has been extended till 15th January to accommodate more children and reaffirmed their commitment to continuing awareness-based healthcare initiatives.
