Residents in several parts of the city will face a power outage today, 31st October due to essential maintenance and repair work being carried out by Powercom. The department is conducting daily feeder repairs, and as part of the ongoing work, electricity supply will remain suspended in certain areas today.
According to officials, repair and feeder shifting work is being carried out at 11 kV Karol Bagh, 11 kV King City, and DRDO 11 kV lines. For this, the Chander Main feeder will remain shut, affecting power supply in multiple localities.
As a result, areas including Jandusingha, Moti Bagh, Silver Enclave, Man Singh Nagar, Shalimar Garden, City View Colony, Sunshine Valley, and nearby villages will experience a power cut from 10 AM to 4 PM.
Officials have appealed to residents to plan their activities accordingly and cooperate during the maintenance period. On the other hand, residents have also demanded tree cutting near power cables to prevent disruptions during windy weather.
