Punjab Floods 2025 is far from over. There is no alert regarding rain for the next 5 days and this has brought some hope among people who have been impacted by the crisis. Meanwhile, relief and rescue operations have intensified. The work of filling the Dhussi dam broken by the Ravi river in Ramdas, Amritsar is going on, while the water level has started decreasing at many places from Pathankot to Tarn Taran.

Punjab Floods 2025 death toll on September 4 raised to 43. Out of 43, most number of deaths are reported in Hoshiarpur with 7 deaths, Pathankot reported 6 deaths, Amritsar, and Barnala reported 5 deaths each. Check list below-

Till September 4, 2025, a total of 3,84, 205 people have been impacted. Gurdaspur is among the worst affected districts in terms of population affected. 1 lakh 45 thousand people have been impacted in Gurdaspur, over 1,35,000 people have been impacted in Amritsar. Check list below-
