Punjab Governor visits Sri Devi Talab Mandir in Jalandhar, Sarowar Kar Sewa begins

The Kar Sewa of Jalandhar Sri Devi Talab Mandir's Sarowar started on November 7, 2025. Punjab Governor Gulab Chand Kataria inaugurated the program. The Hanuman Chalisa was recited beforehand.

Before this, the Kar Sewa took place in 2016. It means, the Sarovar's Kar Swea is taking place after a span of 8 years

Former Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia, Nitin Kohli, Jalandhar Central Halka Incharge also visited Sri Devi Talab Mandir to join the Kar Sewa.

Other notable dignitaries who were also participated in the Kar Sewa were Speaker S. Kultar Singh Sandhwan, AAP Punjab President Shri Aman Arora, Jalandhar Mayor Shri Vaneet Dhir, Cabinet Minister Harmeet Singh Khudian, Madam Rajvinder Kaur Thiara, and more.

The Sant Samaj also made a special appearance and blessed the devotees. Preparations for the Kar Seva had been underway in full swing for the past several days. The Sri Devi Talab Temple Management Committee has pledged to provide all possible support to the visiting devotees.

Punjab Governor Gulab Chand Kataria said, "No matter how expert we are in our field, God guides us. Nothing is possible without God's blessings."

He added, "Devi Talab is also a powerhouse of energy for us."
