Punjab Education Minister, Harjot Singh Bains announces that considering the increasing cold and foggy conditions of the state, holidays in all government, aided, recognized and private schools of the state are being extended till January 13. This decision was taken under the directive of the Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann keeping in view the health and safety of the children and staff.
The schools will now reopen as usual from January 14.
