With October 2025 almost knocking on the doors, preparations for winters 2025 have already started. The night time has already started to become longer as compared to days. However, weather in Punjab is reminding people of sweltering heat. Nevertheless, the weather department has already predicted that this year, winters in Punjab will shiver people down to their core.
Keeping weather experts predictions in mind, Punjab School Timings have also been changed.
As per reports, schools will open at a new time starting October 1st. This order is only for the month of October, after which school timings will be revised again.
Starting October 1st, primary schools in the state will run from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm. Similarly, all middle, high, and senior secondary schools will open from 8:30 am to 2:50 pm. This order will be in effect from October 1st to October 31st.
School timings will be changed again starting November 1st. All primary schools will open at 9 am and close at 3 pm. Similarly, middle, high, and senior secondary schools will open from 9 am to 3:20 pm. This order will be in effect from November 1st to February 28th.
