
In what came as a shock for millions of fans, Punjabi music and rapper Shubh on Thursday announced that he is cancelling his entire North America tour. Shubh was slated to perform in Canada and the US in the coming days. However, the Punjabi singer shared the update on his Instagram story and also expressed his disappointment.
Ticket booking platform, Ticket Master showcased Shubh was slated to perform in Vancouver, BCRogers Arena on August 23. Thereafter, the Punjabi singer was slated to perform in Toronto, ON Scotiabank Arena on September 5, 2025.
In the US, Shubh was slated to perform in Oakland, CA, USOakland Arena on August 22 and it has also been cancelled.
Shubh shared an official note that reads, "Due to production delays and travel disruptions of key crew caused by the recent airline strikes, we've had to cancel the North American shows. My deepest apologies to everyone who was excited and ready for this.
My team and I have been working tirelessly for months to bring you an incredible show, and I'm truly disappointed we won't be able to share it with you at this time.
To all my fans who were ready to go, thank you for your constant support. It's your energy that keeps me going, and I promise I'll be back soon. All ticket buyers will receive a refund.
I appreciate your understanding, and I can't wait to see you all very, very soon."
Reddit on buzz over Shubh's cancelled US and Canada Tour
A post is getting viral on Reddit which alleges that Shubh had to cancel his show in Canada and the US as plethora of seats were still on sale.
The Redditor wrote, "Shubh has called off his whole tour just days before it was supposed to start. Ticket maps showed large empty sections even after heavy last-minute promotion.
This comes right after Karan Aujla cancelled his entire European tour, which left many fans frustrated with last-minute changes.
Streaming numbers don’t always mean fans will pay for live shows, especially with high ticket prices and cost of living."
