The Radha Soami Satsang Beas (RSSB) management has reportedly put a ban on photography and videography of any leader or VIP during their meeting with the Dera chief Baba Gurinder Singh Dhillon. The decision has been taken in order to keep the spirituality and sanctity of the Dera.
The decision comes after the Dera chief Baba Gurinder Singh Dhillon has been making a lot of headlines lately especially after his visit to to the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leader and former Punjab minister Bikram Singh Majithia at the Nabha jail where he had been lodged for the past 7 months. The spiritual leader had visited the SAD leader for the second time in jail on February 2, 2026.
After this, Dera Beas chief's presence at the Punjab Governor Gulab Chand Kataria’s march against drugs alongside political leaders like Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) president Sukhbir Singh Badal and BJP working president Ashwani Sharma in Ferozepur on Tuesday also stirred up a lot of chatter.
Amidst the recent political buzz, the decision to put a ban on photography and videography of any leader or VIP during their meeting with the Dera chief Baba Gurinder Singh Dhillon comes as a clear message about the political stance of the Dera. It has been made clear that now, photographs of any leader or VIP with the Dera chief will not be made public, and all branch heads have been issued instructions regarding the same.
It is noteworthy that the Radha Soami Satsang Beas (RSSB) Dera has no past ties or leaning towards any particular political party. And this decision at this time reflects that the Dera management wants to put a full stop on all the speculations being made regarding its association or inclination towards any political party.
