

In a concerning development, a body of Regional Transport Authority (RTA) officer named Ravinder Singh Gill has been found from the bathroom of his flat. According to reports, Ravinder Singh Gill was living in Jalandhar Heights.
Initial reports indicate that the RTA officer suffered a heart attack. However, the police have launched an investigation into the matter. The exact cause of death will be confirmed after the post-mortem report is received.
Gill hailed from Bathinda, Punjab. His family members have arrived in Jalandhar to take the body. The police officials are likely to record statement of family members.
On Monday morning, when Gill did not come out his flat for a long time, his driver and gunman become suspicious. Hence, they opened the bathroom door where they found the RTA officer lying unconscious in bathroom.
The police officials were then informed immediately and they reached the spot. The police have sent the body for post-mortem examination, and further action will be taken after the report is received.
As per information received, Ravinder Singh Gill was previously a Motor Vehicle Inspector in Bathinda. After his promotion, he was transferred to the Chandigarh head office. Recently, he was given the additional charge of RTA in Jalandhar.
Ravinder Singh Gill has two sons. One of his sons was married just a few days ago.
