Famous Punjabi sufi singer Satinder Sartaaj's show in Ludhiana Saras Mela 2025 concluded on Monday. Satinder Sartaaj's concert that took place at PAU in Ludhiana, Punjab was suppose to be a peaceful and entertaining. However, a ruckus erupted at Saras Mela star night.
As per reports, some fans who had come to watch the show vandalized government property. They climbed on fire brigade vehicles and even broke chairs at the fair.
Not only this, but a man even scuffled with Station House Officer (SHO) Gagandeep of Police Station Division No. 4. A video of the incident has also surfaced, showing the man trying to go to Sartaj's show, but police officers stopped him. This led to an argument and scuffle with the SHO.
The man even grabbed the SHO's uniform, saying, "I'll have your stars removed."
Satinder Sartaj's performance was scheduled for the night of October 13th. Originally scheduled for October 10th, the singer had rescheduled the performance due to Karva Chauth falling on October 10th.
Consequently, his performance was rescheduled for October 13th. All tickets for the event were booked before October 10th. When the event was rescheduled, the administration clarified that tickets booked for October 10th would be shifted to October 13th.
Singer Sartaj arrived at Saras Mela on the night of October 13th as scheduled and performed his melodious song. A large crowd gathered to see the singer, and the police had to struggle to control them.
According to reports, when the man entered, the SHO, who was managing the crowd, stopped him. The man told him that his wife was inside the show and he had to take her with him. The SHO tried to explain to him that the crowd was large and he should proceed carefully.
This angered the man and a scuffle ensued. This commotion continued for a long time. Later, other police officers and the public resolved the matter.
As per reports, the SHO told the man that since there was too much crowd in the show he should not go the show with his wife. However, the man refused and continued arguing. He threatened to strip him of his uniform.
