In the view of prevailing cold conditions across Punjab, the Directorate of School Education (Secondary) Punjab has issued a fresh directive. Now all government, aided, recognized and private schools of the state will operate on these new timing. As per the orders issued, the all the primary schools across the state will operate from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The timings for the middle, high and secondary schools will now be from 10:00 AM to 3:20 PM. These new timings will stay in effect from January 16 to January 21, 2026.
