Senior BJP leader from Fazilka, Anil Kumar Sethi joined the Aam Aadmi Party on Tuesday after being influenced by the party’s policies and governance model.
Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann formally inducted Sethi into the party in Chandigarh.
Welcoming him into the party fold, Bhagwant Mann said that people across Punjab are expressing trust in the policies and vision of the Aam Aadmi Party. He stated that the party remains committed to the welfare and progress of every section of society and is continuously strengthening its presence across the state.
Speaking after joining the party, Anil Kumar Sethi said he was impressed by AAP’s honest and development-oriented politics as well as the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.
Sethi expressed confidence that the Punjab government is sincerely working for the betterment of the state and its people.
The Aam Aadmi Party also welcomed Sethi into the organisation and assured him full respect and responsibility within the party structure.
