An accident took place near Lamba Pind Chowk flyover in Jalandhar claiming the life of biker. As per reports, the accident’s impact was so severe that the biker, identified as Arun, a resident of Guru Nanakpura died on spot.
Talking about the incident a man named Kapil explained that he was travelling on the highway when a Venue car, travelling approximately at a speed of 130 mph, hit the bike. The eyewitness also adds that the biker and the car were coming from opposite directions.
Another eyewitness, Manjeet Kumar also shares similar details sharing a speeding car had hit the biker and the accused later fled the scene.
As per reports, the car driver fled the scene after hitting and killing the biker. The eyewitness also mentions that the driver had realized that the biker has died which is why he fled the scene. Following the incident, police reached the spot and initiated a probe. Currently, the police is conducting a through investigation and questioning is underway. CCTV footage from nearby cameras will also be scanned soon.
