A tragic road accident has occurred in Jandiala Guru, Amritsar last night. According to reports a motorcycle collide with an Activa near Raghunath Girls College. The collision claimed the life of the motorcyclist. The deceased has been identified as Japnam Singh, son of Nirmal Singh, who was a resident of Jandiala Guru.
As per reports, the deceased was the only brother of two sisters, and had just married a few months ago. The impact of the collision was so severe that the person died on the spot due to head injuries. Later, police reached the spot and took possession of the body and sent to hospital for postmortem.
SHO Naresh Kumar said the rider was headed to home when he collided with an Activa. Immediately after the accident the injured was rushed to the hospital, where the doctors declared him dead. The police is currently probing the case and thoroughly investigating the cause of the accident. The incident has caused a wave of grief in the area and devastated the family.
