The much-talked-about ‘iPhone Langar’ by Amritsar-based businessman and social media influencer Rakesh Trehan, popularly known as Raja D King, is set to return with another major giveaway. The next lucky draw has been scheduled for October 27, 2026, with 11 iPhone 18 Pro Max handsets to be distributed among selected participants.
The giveaway is expected to draw attention across Punjab, particularly after the earlier iPhone Langar events generated significant interest among youngsters and social media users. The burgundy-coloured iPhone 18 Pro Max is also expected to be among the attractions of the upcoming giveaway.
iPhone Langar to expand across 12 cities
The upcoming edition will be conducted across the 12-city region announced earlier. The list includes Chandigarh, Mohali, Kharar, Balachaur, Ropar (Rupnagar), Phagwara, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Pathankot, Patiala, Bathinda and Zirakpur.
The expansion comes after the initiative initially gained attention in Chandigarh and Mohali, where Trehan had announced the distribution of iPhones through the unique ‘langar’ concept.
How to enter the iPhone Langar
According to the organiser's announcement, participants have to join the designated WhatsApp group and send “Jai Mata Di” three times consecutively for the initial entry. They are then required to share their name and city.
Participants will also have to maintain daily continuity. They must send at least 10 “Jai Mata Di” messages every day until the day of the lucky draw. Missing a day could result in disqualification from the giveaway.
11 winners to be selected live
The final 11 winners will be selected through a random lucky draw on October 27. The selection is expected to take place live on camera in the presence of media, adding a public element to the much-discussed giveaway.
The latest announcement is likely to generate fresh excitement among iPhone enthusiasts across the 12-city region, with participants now required to maintain their daily entries until the October 27 draw.
