A woman working in a money transfer shop in Ludhiana recently foiled a robbery attempt. A masked man carrying a sharp knife entered and tried to rob the money transfer shop. The woman who was apparently alone at that time bravely fought the robber.
The woman did not think that the robber was carrying a sharp knife. She grabbed the man's hoodie and started pulling towards her. During the scuffle, robber's knife fell onto the ground and he fled from the spot.
Now, a CCTV footage from the incident has come to the fore and social media users are lavishing praise on the bravery of the woman.
The incident took place in the main market of Hambran Police Post, under Ladhowal police station in Ludhiana. The brave woman has been identified as Soni Verma.
Based on the CCTV footage, a search for the accused has been launched. The Ladhowal police station says that the girl risked her life to prevent a robbery.
