Renowned in the wrestling world as ‘Jassa Patti,’ Rustam-e-Hind Jaskanwar Singh Patti joined the Aam Aadmi Party on Tuesday along with his entire team. He was formally inducted into the party during a program organised at the Chief Minister’s residence.
Welcoming him into the party, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said that Jassa Patti has brought glory not only to Punjab but to the entire country at the international level through his achievements in wrestling. He said that the joining of such prominent personalities from the sports world into politics will provide positive inspiration to the youth.
Expressing confidence, the Chief Minister said that just as Jassa Patti has proven his dedication and hard work in the field of sports, he will continue to serve the nation and society with the same commitment after joining the party. On this occasion, Jassa Patti also expressed his faith in the Chief Minister’s policies and pledged to work towards strengthening the party.
